Chicken Road Canada

About us and how we work

Chicken Road Canada is a small, independent site with a narrow job: explain one casino game properly, in plain Canadian English, and let you try it free before you decide whether it is for you. We are not a casino, we are not owned by one, and InOut Games does not pay us to write about its game.

How we check the numbers

Every figure on the site goes through the same rule. An RTP, a lane count or a release date is stated as fact only when two independent sources agree, such as the developer's own page and a catalogue like SlotCatalog. When we have a single source, we say so in the sentence. When we have none, we leave the number out. That is why some figures here carry a source in brackets.

We play the demo before we write about a game, and we keep notes on every session. We do not publish our own short tests as statistics, though: a few hundred rounds are far too few to measure a game, and pretending otherwise would mislead you.

Our sources

  • InOut Games' own game page and announcements.
  • SlotCatalog and other established game databases.
  • The demo itself and its rules panel.
  • Provincial regulators and lottery corporations for the legal picture in Canada.

How the site is funded

Some links go to partner casinos. If you open an account through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Those links are always separate from the demo and labelled as real-money play. Commissions do not change our score or the weaknesses we list.

How the score works

The score on the home page is out of 10 and weighs four things: how clear the rules are, what the verified numbers say about return and risk, how fair the format feels, and how easy it is to try the game for free. It is never a forecast of what you will win.

Updates and corrections

Games get patched and catalogues get updated. When a figure changes, we update the page and the date at the top of the home page. If you spot a mistake, we want to hear about it, we fix it quickly and we do not pretend it was never there.

What you will not find here

No guaranteed systems, no promises of profit and no bonus codes we cannot verify. We do not point Canadian readers to sites that are not permitted where they live, and we never push you towards real money: the free demo is always the first thing we suggest. If a casino link ever leads somewhere that does not match what we describe, tell us and we will remove it.

Responsible gambling

We write about gambling, but we never present it as a way to make money. The site is for adults of legal age in their province, and every page links to our responsible gambling page.

Jordan Beaulieu

Instant games reviewer

Jordan Beaulieu lives in Ottawa and has been writing about online casino games for several years, with a soft spot for the new wave of crash and instant titles. Before reviewing a game, Jordan plays the demo across every setting, reads the rules panel line by line and compares the developer's figures with the main game databases.

Jordan's reviews always include the weak points, and they make clear which numbers are confirmed and which are estimates. You will not find a winning system here, because there is no such thing.
